With over 35 years of experience in the fishing charter business, Chubasco Charters is committed to serving you and your party to the highest standards. Family-owned and operated by Captain Mike Russell and his wife, fishing for the Chubasco team is more than just a job—it's their passion.

Step aboard the stunning 48’ Hatteras, a vessel that can accommodate up to 8 anglers at once—perfect for a group fishing adventure! This impressive boat is powered by twin Detroit engines, each delivering 485 HP. The amenities are top-notch, including outriggers for wider trolling capabilities, a flybridge, a fighting chair, and a spacious salon area with comfortable seating.

Captain Mike Russell, with his extensive 35-year experience, knows these waters like the back of his hand. On his trips, he commonly targets species such as Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Barracuda, Snapper, and various other game fish found in the area. Each trip includes bottled water and ice, along with all necessary fishing equipment. While food and other beverages are not included, they can be made available on board for a surcharge with prior notice.

The crew provides all the gear needed for the trips, and catch cleaning and filleting are offered free of charge. Children are welcome aboard, as Captain Mike enjoys teaching young anglers the tricks of the trade. The vessel is accessible for individuals with disabilities, and Captain Mike warmly invites anglers from all walks of life to join in on a fantastic fishing adventure!
